Unique Sculptures from Fallen Trees

   Inspired by the rugged beauty of nature, my sculptural work transforms natural wood elements, primarily acquired from the forests surrounding Prescott, Arizona, into unique pieces of art. Each sculpture begins with a meticulous selection process, seeking out wood distinguished by its inherent shape, size, color, and condition.

   Following extensive cleaning, every piece undergoes a tailored process of cutting, shaping, and sanding, with the wood's natural character guiding my hand. Manipulation of the original form is reserved only for instances of severe rot, ensuring the integrity of nature's design. The journey culminates with the application of color, carefully chosen to enhance the wood's features, followed by a durable epoxy resin finish. When properly maintained, this finish promises a lifetime of enjoyment.

   Designed for indoor display, these sculptures should be kept out of direct sunlight to preserve their beauty. Each finished work tells a story, celebrating the raw elegance of the natural world and inviting viewers to appreciate the artistry found within the heart of the forest.
